Dipping Cabinets vs. Commercial Chest Freezers for Ice Cream
This collection contains two distinct product types. Understanding the difference helps match the right unit to your operation:
- Ice cream dipping cabinets (Turbo Air): Open-top display cases with curved glass fronts designed for a scooped ice cream service counter. Customers view the ice cream through the glass while staff scoop from the top. The Turbo Air TIDC series is available in 26, 47, 70, and 91-inch configurations. Each unit is a commercial ice cream display case built for high-volume ice cream shop use.
- Commercial chest freezers (Dukers): Horizontal storage freezers with solid open lids or curved sliding glass lids. Used for storing bulk ice cream, frozen desserts, or packaged frozen goods in restaurants, grocery stores, and food retail operations. The Dukers BD/BG series are available in four capacities up to 24 cubic feet. The WD curved sliding glass lid models add a display element for retail environments.
If you operate a full-service ice cream parlor and need both serving and back-of-house storage, Amechef carries gelato and ice cream display equipment and soft serve and frozen dessert machines to support your complete setup.
